While I’ve mentioned Mind Mapping in previous posts as a tool to communicate effectively, as a productivity tool, and save time [a picture is worth a thousand words, right?] preparing a presentation or even while delivering it! I’ve recently had the chance to purchase and take an excellent course by Barry Mapp at Udemy.com

While in the past I’ve taking many programming courses at Udemy, I decided to improve my “soft skills” and review mind mapping that I’ve learned from Tony Buzan back in the 90s… I always have preference for seasoned courses [1000+ students] and expert instructors, and Barry has been teaching Mind Mapping for over 20 years to a wide variety of audiences. His teaching style is simple, using hand drawing animations

But this is an unusual topic and Barry is an unusual instructor, because he is also a great coach, helping me in this course to master the skill of creating and delivering Mind Maps like it’s second nature, so simple to do… All the exercises and labs are easy to do, the entire course is easy to understand [if you are used to British spelling and pronunciation, that is!] There are a few quizzes along the way to help you focus your attention and help you review the material with clever questions.

Overall I rated the course 5 out of 5 stars because, the content, the pace, the quizzes, and the quality of the instructor  contributed to my learning in the topic of Mind Mapping!
